Previously, Paul was Deputy Editor for Investing & Retirement of the authoritative Forbes Advisor website.
Earlier, Paul was a Senior Writer-Reporter for Investor’s Business Daily, a national publication and website for investors. Paul covered the markets in general and mutual funds in particular. He also coordinated the personal finance and retirement column.
He is former Boston correspondent for Money magazine and former managing editor of the Boston Business Journal.
He has written for many national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, The New York Times, AARP.com, and AARP the magazine.
At IBD he also wrote profiles of American leaders. That made use of skills he honed early in his career, when he was a magazine writer who wrote sparkling features about larger-than-life community figures. He returns to those story telling roots with his latest book, the biography of Marvin Gilmore. Marvin is a war hero, community leader, and grandson of slaves, who achieved the American dream and has made a career of helping others help themselves.
